Well I have had this album on preorder for a while now. The new Tenacious D. The Pick of Destiny. I must say it’s a rather catchy tune. I just want to go around screaming “It’s a Pick of Destiny” I should record myself saying that. You get the CD Covers and a video with the whole deal the Time Fixers. Yes I make some cash if you click on it. More if you download a few songs.
And always if you need to catch up on Heroes you can grab the episodes for $1.99 a pop. Tonights episode was awesome. I always await Monday at 9pm. It’s good to finally have something that isn’t shit on TV.
Just trying to pay some bills. Pimp some stuff I like. =) Also if you haven’t picked up the king of all media players. The iPod I also got the hook up for you on that.

OK, I haven’t seen the show, so perhaps my opinion is without mertit, but I just cannot take a show seriously if their tagline is “Save the cheerleader, save the world.”

But the cheerleader is hot and she is invincible and Syler is going to kill her because he hates the heroes and he kills them by removing the brains.
And there is a a nuke going off soon that they need the cheerleader to prevent from going off and it’s addicting as hell.
On a side note I would like to say I got to watch Heroes on a beautiful 46” Samsung HDTV blew mine away.
I think geeks are one of the few that call electronic devices sexy. =p

The Zune You ask.
Well it’s $249. For Twice the Weight, Twice the thickness you get a slightly larger screen. The interface is annoying compared to the iPod.
One cool feature that is also gay. Is that you can beam songs to someone. That is 3 songs and they can play them 3 times. Or keep them for 3 days. Which ever happens first the song will get deleted.
Also the Microsoft Music stores are based on subscription. So if you cancel that you lose all your music.
It has a built in FM Radio that the iPod lacks. But the FM Radio Adapter for the iPod is sweet for an extra $29 but who would want to listen to FM anyways?
The Zune software didn’t sync properly in the test I had with it. It only works with Windows XP and your locked into Windows Media Player.
47 Steps to Install the thing and 2 restarts. Which is just to annoying even for me.
The Zune Music store launches with under a million songs compared to the 3.5 million songs iTunes has.
Also the Zune does not support Podcasting and they have plans to sometime next year.
If you have $249 sitting around and you are trying to figure out what to buy.
I would wait until MacWorld 2007 in January for the much rumored touch screen iPod. The Zune is bullshit if you ask me.

I would rather stick with a unit that has approx 16million in use compared to Microsoft trying to follow in a realm they are always trying to catch up with.
They seem to always want to try to copy Apple and Google.

Haha, yeah that’s a lot of useful info, thanks. I knew you were pretty into macs, so I was curious if you thought it would be the “ipod killer” that it’s been hyped as. But with the issues that you listed, I don’t think there will be any ipod “slaying” taking place by Microsoft any time in the near future.

I just got my 2000t and all of my songs are skipping in iTunes, and I cant figure out why. If someone could help me out and tell me how to fix this I would really appreciate it because its driving me crazy. Thanks for the replys.
